Sorting is the heart of Clean The Library. Every Classic book belongs to one of sixteen shelf sections—1A through 1J downstairs and 2A through 2F upstairs. Spine title is your primary cue; color confirms when spines are unreadable. Classic 1A is Studio, 1H is Horror—do not sort by color alone on first floor Roblox parody themes.
Manual sorting means physically separating colors on the hub floor before pickup. Magic sorting adds Assemble to pull scattered books together and Sort to group a pile by color automatically. Co-op Color Roles and Communication

Call ambiguous books before placement: "holding pale blue—is this Prophecy or Advanced Magic?" prevents Insight rework. Voice beats silent dumping every time. Platform mix is normal: PC zoom reader plus mobile pile dumper plus controller courier is a viable squad.
Sort before or after Assemble? Assemble first on scattered field dumps, then Sort on the consolidated hub pile. Reversing that order wastes Assemble range on already-grouped stacks.
How to Beat Sorting Bottlenecks
Bottleneck one: carrying too many unrelated colors. Fix with keys and smaller batches. Bottleneck two: delivering one book at a time across the map. Fix by batching five to ten same-wing books before sprinting. Bottleneck three: second-floor palette shock. Fix by studying 2A–2F colors on the wiki before ascending.
