Map Identifier Guide

How to tell Starter Library, Classic Library, and Grand Library mid-run in Clean The Library. Floor count, section themes, and 1A differences.

Why Map Identification Matters

Clean The Library reuses letter codes like 1A across three different wings—but the themes behind those codes change completely. Shelving a Classic Studio book onto Grand Cooking 1A blocks progress and wastes co-op time. The fastest tell is reading the spine title, then confirming the endcap theme label on the nearest shelf wing.

Lobby map selection lets you pick Starter, Classic, or Grand before joining, but public servers and mid-run rejoins can drop you into an unfamiliar layout. Spend thirty seconds identifying the map before your first delivery.

Full section lists live on shelf sections, Starter map, and Grand map pages.

Starter Library Signs

One floor only — no stair transition to a second Classic or Grand level. Twelve sections labeled 1A through 1L. Starter 1A = Rules & Moderation (not Classic Studio, not Grand Cooking).

Themes skew tutorial-friendly: Roblox History, Developers, Pirates, Science, Travel. Smaller book count than Classic or Grand. Keys and full magic progression typically matter less here.

Graduate to Classic via lobby selection after learning hub pile discipline—see Starter Library guide.

Classic Library Signs

Two floors — first floor 1A–1J, second floor 2A–2F (sixteen sections total). Classic 1A = Studio (Why Some Parts Float When Nobody is Watching, The Hidden Grid All Maps Follow). Classic 1H = Horror — Horror is not 1A.

Roblox parody themes dominate: Simulators, DevEx, Rules & Moderation, Obby/Parkour, Economy/Trading on floor one; Magic, Anime, Brainrot, Theme Parks on floor two.

This is the map for the Clean The Library! badge (9.3% Rolimon win rate). Floor charts on first floor and second floor pages.

Grand Library Signs

Four floors — section codes use 1X on floor one through 4X on floor four (thirty-two sections total). Grand 1A = Cooking — completely different from Classic 1A Studio.

Floor one holds Cooking, Nature, Superheroes, Economy, History, Brainrots, Ghosts, Science. Floor two adds Pirates, Jailbreak, Backrooms, Simulators, Sports, and more. Floors three and four continue with Magic, Horror, Studio, Myths, DevEx, and other wings.

Grand has its own badge chain ending in Clean The Grand Library (1.6%). Use floor 1 through floor 4 wiki pages while learning endcaps.

Quick Identification Checklist

Step 1: Count accessible floors — one = Starter, two = Classic, four = Grand. Step 2: Walk to the nearest 1A endcap and read the theme label. Step 3: Pick up one book and read the spine title—it should match the wing theme family.

If 1A says Cooking, you are on Grand. If 1A says Rules & Moderation with only one floor, you are on Starter. If 1A says Studio with stairs to a second floor, you are on Classic.

Frequently Asked Questions

Classic 1A or Grand 1A?

Classic 1A is Studio. Grand 1A is Cooking. Read the endcap label—never assume from letter alone.

Where is Horror in Classic?

Classic Horror is section 1H, not 1A. Grand Horror is floor 3 section 3B.

Can I tell from book count alone?

No. Use floor count and 1A theme as primary signals.

Same codes across maps?

Letter format repeats; themes do not. Codes never carry across Starter, Classic, and Grand.
