Library Map Overview
Complete map guide for Clean The Library on Roblox. Classic Library 16 sections (1A–1J, 2A–2F), Starter tutorial wing, and four-floor Grand Library expansion.
Library Layout
Clean The Library by Retro Library and StarMarine rotates between multiple library wings. The Classic Library is the main two-floor map with sixteen Roblox-themed sections: ten on the first floor (1A–1J) and six on the second (2A–2F). The Grand Library expansion spans four floors with thirty-two distinct section codes that do not match Classic themes—Grand 1A is Cooking while Classic 1A is Studio. A separate Starter Library tutorial map offers twelve single-floor sections (1A–1L) for first-time players.
Together Classic and Grand hold 4,000+ books after the Giant Map update. Not sure which wing you joined? Use the map identifier guide before shelving—wrong-map assumptions cause the most beginner misfiles. Navigation mastery means central hub piles, wing aisles with letter codes on endcaps, and jump shortcuts via Crimson Octagon between mezzanines.
This wiki covers Starter Library, Classic first floor, Classic second floor, Grand Library, and the complete shelf sections reference aligned with shelf-sections.json.
Progression Through the Map
Most Classic runs begin first-floor heavy—learning 1A–1J spine patterns builds foundation for 2A–2F upstairs. Second floor unlocks after sufficient first-floor progress; exact gating follows in-game milestones on updates.
Badge milestones—Quarter, Halfway, Clean—track percentage across both Classic floors combined. Finish shelves for Stat Points that unlock magic abilities.
Speed runners memorize stair transitions shown in the speed run route guide. Grand Library clears award Ascend Tokens for the July 2026 class system.
