How Shelf Lookup Works
Shelf lookup maps spine titles to section codes for Starter, Classic, and Grand wings. Classic first floor 1A Studio through 1J History; second floor 2A Magic through 2F Theme Parks—example titles from shelf-sections.json such as Why Some Parts Float (1A), Illusion Magic (2A), Sigma Studies (2E).
Search title fragments when spines are unreadable on mobile. Results show map type (Starter/Classic/Grand)—use map identify if unsure which wing you are on.
Lookup complements Sort magic—it does not predict Sort output on mixed piles. Use after identifying title via zoom or co-op callout.
Example Lookups
"Hidden Grid" → 1A Studio. "Illusion Magic" → 2A Magic. "Sigma Studies" → 2E Brainrot. "Sound of OOF" → 1H Horror. Grand results show separately—Cooking titles map to Grand 1A, not Classic Studio.

Limitations
New books added in game updates may lag until wiki data refresh—check updates after patches. Fan fiction titles in co-op troll piles are not in database.
Lookup cannot fix stuck shelves or key locations—use stuck shelf guide and key route guide instead.
